Viewed from eye level he dresses rather conservatively, until one’s eyes hone in (this doesn’t take very long) on pink, purple or yellow knee sock(it to me baby)s. Perhaps he imagines these give him a reproductive advantage, similar to the bright plumage of birds.

Well, I like your mention of the "pink, purple or yellow knee sock(it to me baby)s." It reminds me of when a gal at wbbs posted something about the cfmp's she and her girlfriends always wore. I had no idea what she meant but she finally told me. It was about shoes: Come Fuck Me Pumps.
I was probably the only person at wbbs who didn't know what she meant.
Actually, I wouldn't have known either, since I tend to avoid high heels...
